The Minnesota Renaissance Festival will be open weekends (Sat & Sun) August 22 – October 4 plus Labor Day, September 7 and Festival Friday, October 2. Open 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. rain or shine.
It's that time of year again! The Minnesota Renaissance Festival returns this fall, inviting you to spend seven weekends immersed in a 16th-century village filled with thrilling full-combat jousts, interactive experiences, legendary turkey legs, artisan shopping, live entertainment, and unforgettable adventures for the whole family.

- NEW IN 2026 - Never Neverland
- Step into the magic of Never Neverland! Tucked away in the enchanted forest, young adventurers can craft a fairy wand or pirate hat, gather for a captivating story, strike a pose for a magical photo, conquer a woodland play fortress, and test their skills with games and challenges fit for little knights, fairies and pirates. There’s always another adventure waiting around the corner!
- NEW IN 2026 - Adventures in Cardboard
- Explore a world of swords, sorcery and legendary beasts! Jump into a live-action adventure where you’ll build your own arms and armor, defend your lands in the Cardboard Combat Pit, and brave the mysterious Maze of Doom.
- ARTrageous Adventures
- Calling all young adventurers! Step into an ARTrageous world of creativity and magic with a selection of guided crafting activities.
- Wicked Wand Workshop
- Craft your own magical wand and reveal its true power through playful trials. Choose from mysterious wand materials and decorate them with paint, glitter, and charms.
- Children’s Costume Contest
- Dearest gentle folk and magical peoples, join us for a children’s costume contest daily at 11 a.m. in the Palace Garden. Unique costume pieces will be available to wear!
- Mermaid Cove
- Explore the magical waters of Mermaid Cove and meet our merfolk! Watch as they dive, flip, and twirl majestically in the water. If you’re lucky, they may even share a token of their magic with you.
- Jousting
- Huzzah! A crowd favorite – watch live armored jousting every day at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m., and 5 p.m. at the Joust Track. Witness the epic battle!
