My daughter was about to turn 2 and I was trying to figure out what to get her? She is our 4th child so as you can imagine we are already drowning in plastic toys and hand me downs.
I actually had one of those plastic water tables in my Target "saved for later" items because I planned on getting her one of those. We had one previously with our other kids but it was on it's last days and we got rid of it. After 12 years of being a mom, I get tired of buying more toys that just get forgotten about or end up broken within a few months.
With screens everywhere we turn these days, it can be a struggle to get all 4 of my kids outside and keep them "entertained." I want to make sure they are playing outdoors and using their imaginations and well, getting dirty like we did when we were kids.
One day I came across Heritage Kids Co. They are a local family in Prior Lake, MN who make custom built Mud Kitchens. I knew I just had to get one!

Matt and Taylor were wonderful to work with. The night before her birthday the Mud Kitchen was dropped off in our backyard all ready to go. She absolutely loves it! My older kids love it too and they also like to join in on the fun.
